The Noble E Young Skatepark is comprised of sheet-metal covered wooden obstacles. This skatepark appears to be used quite often and is a little worn, but is still skateable.
Onsite you can find a vert ramp, a 4 foot mini-ramp, a 5 foot mini-ramp with a 6 foot extension, several quarter pipes and a funbox all with metal coping edges.
Skatepark Amenities
Noble E. Young Skatepark was dedicated by the Tyler City Council and Tyler Parks & Recreation Board on October 24, 1998. Since its opening the skatepark has been one of Tyler's most popular parks.
The skatepark is a favorite place for local skaters, as well as skateboarders from across the East Texas region and the state.
The adjacent park area also has a playground, a Basketball/Multipurpose Court and Hike & Bike Trails.
The Tyler Parks & Recreation Department encourages you to wear protective gear when using our skatepark including helmets, elbow pads and knee pads.
