Skatepark Rules

1. USE OF THIS FACILITY IS AT YOUR OWN RISK - know your abilities! Be under control at all times.  Share the park with others and avoid conflict.
2. Use of safety equipment such as helmets, gloves, knee and elbow pads, wrist supports and proper shoes is recommended.
3. All users are responsible for providing their own skateboard, skates and equipment and for ensuring that they are maintained in good working order.
4. Use caution.  Do not use the park in adverse weather conditions.  Snow and ice will not be removed by the City.
5. Hours of permitted use are from 8:00 a.m. to sundown.  It shall be unlawful for any person to enter or remain on the premises outside the hours posted.
6. The City of Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to revoke use of the facility privileges for individuals who are rowdy or do not obey the rules.
7. Do not proceed down a ramp until clear of other skaters.
8. Skating is allowed only in authorized areas.
9. Spectators should watch from outside the skating area.
10. Pets must be kept outside the skate park, on a leash and attended.

• Waxing
• Makeshift Items
• Modifications to Park Features
• Motorized Vehicles/Equipment
• Glass Containers
• Amplified Music
• Alcoholic Beverages
• Drugs
• Tobacco Products
• Firearms
• Fireworks
• Vandalism
• Unruly, Unsafe or Unlawful Behavior
• Graffiti
• Profanity
• Recklessness
• Rowdy Behavior
