Located alongside the Atlanta BeltLine corridor in the shadow of Freedom Parkway, the Fourth Ward Skatepark offers world-class skateboard amenities. Opened in spring 2011, it has quickly become a hot gathering spot for skaters.

Historic Fourth Ward Skatepark became an immediate hit with the skateboard circuit. A grand opening celebration included an appearance by legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk, whose foundation contributed $25,000 towards the construction of the new facility. During his visit, Tony Hawk noted the exceptional size of the skatepark and praised its design, which offers something for skaters of every skill level. As for the design, the local skateboard community was highly involved in the design process. This was one of the key reasons the Tony Hawk Foundation took such a keen interest in the project.
